Exotic Girlfriend

Inspired by heartbreaks, transatlantic romances and misunderstood text messages Exotic Girlfriend was founded by Andi Soós and Noémi Varga. The band reflects on the challenges and joy of being an Eastern European woman: the lo-fi, indie-pop music is combined with ironic lyrics that tell real stories from the female point of view.
In 2019 drummer Zsófia Papp and in 2021 bassist and songwriter Éda Meggyesházi joined the band. Exotic Girlfriend played at Trafó - House of Contemporary Art, Dürer Kert, Trip and Kolorádó Festival.
